Here's the Story!
The Story
Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu, three ordinary girls on a field trip to Tokyo Tower with their respective schools, suddenly find themselves transported to the magical world of Cephiro. There they are told that Princess Emeraude, whose prayers keep Cephiro from destruction, has been kidnapped and only they can save her. To do so they must revive the Spirits and become the legendary Magic Knights.
In the second half of the story, the girls return to a Cephiro in ruin. There they decide to stay and help their new friends defend the country from the invading nations who would seek to use the pillar system to their own advantage. So once again they must save Cephiro, but this time by choice.
It's a really beautiful story that is very different from any magical girl anime/manga I know of. You may think you know what's going on, but the line between good and evil is smaller than you thought.
